Why Use SquareSpace?

As a web developer who has spent countless hours working in code to produce websites, I was sassy when website builders such as Squarespace and WIX became popular. Twinged with a hint of jealousy I saw a part of my career disappearing as these tools made building websites exponentially easier than building a website just 4 years ago.

I began to build websites in both platforms because I wanted to understand the use case of a website builder as such. I began seeing peers using these platforms to build their own brands and companies, and I realized quickly that my disdain for these platforms was ill placed. As a small business owner myself I began to understand that these platforms are a complete game changer for small businesses. Even mine.

Can I build a website from scratch? Absolutely.

But why spend the amount of time it takes me to do that when I can use a platform such as SquareSpace?
Owning a small business means that you have to spread yourself thin and that the time you spend on anything is precious. So in one evening my business partner and I spun up a quick website that allowed us to put our dream onto paper.. well screen.
